Q: I own a café and my sign needs to be seen by passers by from both directions.
A: We can make double or single-sided signs ready for hanging, which is ideal for restaurants and cafes. Our larger signs are usually more suitable for this.
Q: Do you supply brackets?
A: Yes, we can supply custom-made brackets especially to suit your sign as a cost option.
Q: Are your signs suitable for fixing into the ground?
A: Yes, most of our signs can be fixed into the ground with either spikes or stakes (see our tips for choosing a sign page).
Q: Are the letters and emblem included in the price?
A: One emblem and 25 letters are included in our prices, except for our rectangular plaques, where only the lettering is included. If you require more letters and/or emblems, please contact us for a quote.
Q: How long does it take to manufacture?
A: Manufacturing/delivery time is normally approximately six weeks. Some special signs, new logos and new patterns may take a little longer to make. Please remember our signs and post boxes are hand-made and go through many processes of manufacture. We aim to ensure everything is just as you would like it before dispatch even if it means a slight delay. For this reason we don't guarantee a delivery date. We respectfully request customers not to 'chase' orders before the end of the estimated manufacturing/delivery time indicated on our invoice/acknowledgements.
Q: How will my sign be delivered?
A: By carrier, 48 hr. service. A signature is required by the carrier upon delivery. If you don't receive your order within the estimated manufacturing/delivery time shown on your invoice/acknowledgement, we recommend that you call us, quoting our invoice number.
Q: Do your prices include postage and packing?
A: Postage & packing to UK mainland addresses is included in the price. For shipping costs to addresses outside of the UK mainland, Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Channel Islands, and international addresses, please contact us for a quote.
Q: Do the prices you quote include VAT?
A: We normally quote prices to include VAT, where it is applicable, unless stated otherwise. VAT will also be charged to EU businesses unless a VAT registration number has been supplied at the time of order.
Q: What is a RAL number, which you require for special colour requests...and how can we get it?
A: RAL is a color space system developed in 1927 by the German Commission for Delivery Terms and Quality Assurance. The RAL color system can be found on Pantone colour charts and is mainly used to describe Paint colors.
